Dr. Nwosu is an AssociateProfessor in the department of Family and Preventive medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

After obstetrics and gynecology training in the United Kingdom, he went on to complete a family medicine residency program at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in New York. He serves as Chief of Service for family medicine at Emory University Hospital Midtown and is a collaborating physician and former lead physician for the CVS minute clinics in Georgia.

He practices full spectrum inpatient and outpatient family medicine including care of children of all ages, women’s health with obstetrics and general adult health care. He has served several terms on the both the Education and Public Health Committeesof the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. 

His areas of interest and research include Women and Child health, Global health and Public health. He has published and lectured extensively on his areas of interest and cherishes the opportunity to teach and mentor students and residents. 

I focus on reducing the global burden of cervical cancer via understanding the barriers to care and developing innovative programs suited to under-resourced settings. I also focus on innovative ways to increase HPV vaccine update and minimize the impact of HPV as it relates to cervical cancer causation.
