Mohd Asif, PhD, is a Senior Research Assistant-Botany at RRIUM, (CCRUM, M/o, AYUSH) Chennai. Prior to that ha has gained experiences as Research Assistant at PCIM&H, Ghaziabad-India and as Research Assistant at RARI (CCRAS, M/o, AYUSH), Ranikhet-Uttarakhand-India.  Dr. Mohd Asif did his M.Sc., and Ph.D. from the Department of Botany, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in 2012, 2017 respectively. He is the author of > 50 manuscripts and has been awarded with 'DST PURSE Fellowship for the Promotion of University Research and Scientific in 2013 and 2016 respectively. He has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2013 and 2014 respectively. He has successfully participated in 25 national and international symposia/conferences/workshops relevant to the subject. His research is based on the study of plant-nematode interaction, medicinal plant disease, Ethnobotanical survey and Cultivation of medicinal plants.
