Dr. (Prof). Gopal Nambi. S, PT, PhD, (Musculoskeletal and Sports physiotherapy) working in the Department of Physical therapy and Health rehabilitation, College of Applied medical sciences, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Al-Kharj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since Nov 2014. At present he has been working as a member in various committees (department council, lab committee, student’s club and Quality unit) at the college level and continuously appointed to serve as a student advisor for many students. So far, he has published 125 research articles in peer-reviewed International journals (WOS& Scopus), reviewed 938 articles for 113 journals (WOS& Scopus) and worked as an associate editor for 153 articles in 5 journals (WOS& Scopus). In addition, he has aninternational research collaboration with different universities from Australia, Sweden, the UK, Brazil, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and India. So far he had secured 13 research grants from different universities of Saudi Arabia. He has attended various national and international conferences (Kuwait, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, United Kingdom, and USA) and presented oral and poster presentations. He is a life-term member of 5 professional societies related to the field of physiotherapy and health rehabilitation. He is associated with national/international reputed universities as visiting professor/faculty. He is an external examiner, paper setter and evaluator, panel member for more than 20 universities across the world. He has a keen interest in clinical teaching and has conducted several workshops/seminar nationally/internationally on topics such as Myofascial Release therapy and Swiss ball Therapy. He is involved in public health awareness and skill development in the field of healthcare science. He has written a book in the field of physiotherapy, especially for physiotherapy students.
