Dr. Javed Iqbal earned his B.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering from the N.W.F.P. University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2007. He pursued further studies at the University of Nottingham, Malaysia campus, where he received an M.S. in Electronic Communication and Computer Engineering in 2013. In 2019, he completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Gombak, Malaysia.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Gomal University, Pakistan, Dr. Iqbal's research interests focus on advanced wireless communication technologies. His expertise includes Circularly Polarized MIMO Dielectric Resonator Antennas, 5G NR Band Applications, Millimeter-Wave Technologies, and Wireless Body Area Networks (WBAN).

Dr. Iqbal's contributions to his field have garnered significant recognition. He was awarded Best Paper of the Year (2019) by the IEEE Malaysia Chapter and received the prestigious ANUGERAH SANGGAR SANJUNG USM 2021 award for a high-impact journal publication in 2022. Most recently, in 2023, his article was honoured with the IEEE Malaysian Chapter's Most Cited Paper of the Year award.
