Dr. Ai Ren joined SUNY New Paltz School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics in 2020. He teaches courses in Statistics and Business Analytics at both Undergraduate and Graduate levels.
Dr. Ren’s primary research areas include artificial intelligence, deterministic and stochastic processes, probabilistic methods, business analytics, machine learning, deep learning, and optimization. He also studies market power and antitrust policy in the market, and how artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital technologies impact business, government, and civil society. His research papers have been published in well-reputed academic journals such as the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, International Journal of Medical Informatics, Information Technology & People, Industrial Management & Data Systems, The Service Industries Journal, and Electronic Markets.
My primary research areas include artificial intelligence, deterministic and stochastic processes, probabilistic methods, business analytics, machine learning, deep learning, and optimization. I also study market power and antitrust policy in the market, and how artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital technologies impact business, government, and civil society.
