Dr. Mohammad Ali Sahraei is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Buraimi (UOB), Oman. Prior to this position, Dr. Sahraei was an Assistant Professor at Girne American University (GAU), Cyprus, and has also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Erzurum Technical University (ETU), Turkey. He holds both a Master's and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), specializing in Transportation and Traffic. Dr. Sahraei's research interests include traffic modeling & simulation, traffic safety, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). With a strong foundation in transportation engineering and expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and sustainability, he has developed predictive models in field of traffic engineering, energy consumption, and CO2 emissions. Throughout his career, Dr. Sahraei has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, governmental agencies, and the private sector to drive practical and impactful research.
