Dr. Ali Jahani is a highly accomplished Forest and environmental planner with extensive expertise in sustainable forest planning, environmental impact assessment, and ecological modeling. He earned his Ph.D. in Natural Resources Engineering-Forestry from the University of Tehran, where his pioneering research developed a Decision Support System for Environmental Impact Assessment using artificial intelligence.

Throughout his academic and professional career, Dr. Jahani has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals, focusing on urban forestry, green space planning, and ecological modeling. His research integrates innovative technologies, such as geospatial modeling and machine learning, to advance sustainable development. Dr. Jahani has advanced global understanding of topics such as urban forestry, biodiversity conservation, and the visual and ecological quality of landscapes. His innovative applications of machine learning have influenced policies and practices in sustainable planning and conservation biology.

Dr. Jahani is an experienced educator, having served as an Associate Professor at the Research Center of Environment and Sustainable Development. Over the projects of nearly a decade, he has performed research projects in the field of Forestry, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Artificial Intelligence in Environmental Studies.

As a leader in his field, Dr. Jahani has served as Chair of the Natural Environment and Biodiversity Department, spearheading interdisciplinary initiatives to promote sustainable practices. His contributions to urban planning have enhanced strategies for recreational development and mental health improvement in urban environments.

Dr. Jahani continues to shape the future of landscape architecture and environmental design through his dedication to innovative research, impactful teaching, and leadership in sustainable development.
