Dr. Zehra Funda Akbulut is a distinguished academician in the field of mining engineering, currently serving as a lecturer in the Department of Mining Engineering at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University. She earned her PhD in Mining Engineering from Çukurova University. Her research interests span a wide range of topics, including cement and cement-based material technology, as well as specialized concretes such as lightweight concrete, fibrous concrete, self-compacting concrete, and geopolymer concrete. Additionally, she has made significant contributions to studies on the degradation of natural stones and the durability of concrete.
Dr. Akbulut's academic impact is reflected in her 24 SCI-indexed articles, 21 of which were published under her current name, "Zehra Funda Akbulut," and 3 under her previous surname, "Zehra Funda Türkmenoğlu." Her work has garnered considerable attention for its high citation rates and influence in the field.
