I earned my Ph.D., from Beijing University of Technology. After earning my Ph.D., I continued my postdoctoral research in the National Engineering Laboratory of Beijing University of Technology for two years. Currently, I serve as a lecturerat the College of Civil and Architectural Engineering, North China University of Science and Technology (Tangshan, China). My research belongs to the field of sewage treatment and resource utilization, specifically involving novel biological nitrogen removal technologies. This encompasses anaerobic ammonia oxidation (Anammox) and its coupling process, aerobic granular sludge process, isolation and identification of aerobic denitrifying bacteria and their characteristic research. To date, I have published over 20 SCI-indexed articles and have led and completed some scientific research projects, including “Project of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation” and “Science and Technology Research Program of Universities in Hebei Province”, etc, and served as a reviewer for several SCI journals, including Water Research, Bioresource Technology, Journal of Water Process Engineering etc.
