Álvaro Cobo-González is an Aeronautical Engineer (MSc) from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and an Engineer (MSc) from Institut Supérieur de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace (ISAE-SUPAERO). He is currently a Pre-Doctoral Professor at UPM, with previous experience at Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA), GMV, and Airbus. Additionally, he graduated as the top student in his class in the Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering at UPM.
He is performing his PhD on the conceptual design of unconventional commercial transport aircraft with Dr. Cristina Cuerno-Rejado. His main research areas include composite materials, aircraft design, morphing technologies for aircraft control, Active Flutter Suppression and flight dynamics and control systems.
