I am, Ulugbek Tovfikovich Ashrapov, PhD of Technical Science, Senior Researcher of the Department of Nuclear Energy and Nuclear Technologies of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
I was born in Tashkent on January 30, 1960. My father, Tovfik Burievich Ashrapov, worked for 30 years as the chief engineer of the VVR-SM reactor of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (he was a laureate of the Uzbekistan Beruni State Prize and was awarded a diploma of the World Intellectual Property Organization). My mother worked as an English teacher at a secondary comprehensive school. Now I have a family, a wife, a daughter, a son and 5 grandchildren. I have been working at the Institute of Nuclear Physics since 1985 (40 years).
