Assoc. Prof. Ing. Kamila Kotrasová, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the field of Structural Engineering and Transportation Structures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Technical University of Koš ice in Slovakia. She is the responsible person for study program Structural Engineering and Transportation Structures.
She is the member of the Slovak Society for Mechanics, Slovak Academy of Science, member of the Central European Association for Computational Mechanics, member of Building Engineering Commission Polish Academy of Sciences, Branch in Katowice, Poland, member of International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI). She is a member of the editorial board in journals Archives of Advanced Engineering Science, Bon View Publishing; Buildings, Special Issue "Constructions in Europe: Current Issues and Future Challenges, MDPI and Civil Engineering Science.
Her research field: Interaction problems, Structural elements and structures made of composite materials, Statics and dynamics of the civil engineering structures.
Her teachings are: Theoretical Mechanics, Static analysis, Elasticity and others.
She is the author of the following publications: 11 books and textbooks, 350 publications: Scopus – 111 publications, Web of Science - 63 publications, citations in research papers: Scopus - 531 citations (h-index 14), Web of Science - 276 citations (h-index 11).
