Carla Patrícia Silva (CPS) obtained her degrees at University of Aveiro (UA), Portugal: PhD in Chemistry (2014), MSc in Instrumental Methods and Analytical Quality Control (2006) and graduation in Chemistry (2004). During her PhD, CPS was a Guest Scientist at BAM-Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing, Berlin, Germany.
Currently, CPS is Professor at Polytechnic University of Coimbra - Health School of Coimbra (ESTeSC-IPC), Integrated Researcher of the Health & Technology Research Center (H&TRC/ESTeS-IPC), and Collaborator Researcher at the Center for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM/UA).
CPS has authored 60 publications and 100 communications. Peer-reviewed papers in highly ranked ISI-journals represent 1449 citations and an H-index of 23 (Scopus, 2nd July 2025).
