Dr. Payam Nejat is a research fellow in the field of Building Physics and Environmental Engineering at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Germany. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Environment and Building Physics. Over the past decade, Dr. Nejat has conducted extensive research in areas such as natural ventilation, wind energy integration in buildings, building energy modeling, thermal comfort, and indoor air quality.
He has published more than 30 scientific papers, including 17 peer-reviewed ISI journal articles, and his work has been cited over 4,300 times. Dr. Nejat has collaborated with leading international research institutions and participated in interdisciplinary projects focusing on sustainable building design and passive environmental control strategies. His academic journey reflects a strong commitment to advancing energy-efficient and climate-responsive building technologies.
