Dr. Muhammad Aamir Manzoor earned his Ph.D. from the School of Life Science at Anhui Agricultural University, Hefei, China (AHAU). Currently, he holds the position of Post-doctoral Researcher at the Department of Plant Science, School of Agriculture and Biology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China. He published 23 articles as first author, 7 articles as corresponding authors, and 47 research articles as co-authors in top leading journals of the world, having a high impact factor. Additionally, he has published 1 book as an editor with the international publisher Frontiers Group. Further, he has published 4 Conference papers. My research interests are focused on Gene regulation, Crop genetics, Breeding, Genetic Diversity, Genomics evaluation, and Plant secondary metabolism regulation. In addition, He is interested in the responsiveness of fruit crops and other medicinal plants to abiotic stress conditions (extreme temperature, drought, salinity, heavy metals, etc.), as well as the evaluation of priming agents (Nanoparticles and hormones, etc.) that promote fruit growth and enhance, dormancy and tolerance mechanisms in plants via modern molecular and physiological tools. At present, Dr. Muhammad Aamir Manzoor serves as an editorial board member and reviewer of several high-impact international scientific journals from Elsevier, Springer Nature, Frontiers Group, and MDPI-Publishers.
