Bowen Lin is a Ph.D. candidate (2022–present) at the Intelligent Transportation Systems Research Center, Wuhan University of Technology, China. His research interests focus on autonomous ship berthing control, ship path planning, path following, navigation risk evaluation, and energy efficiency optimization. In 2025, he conducted a one-year academic visit at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He has published 8 SCI papers (including 3 as the first author) and 1 conference paper. He serves as a reviewer for several international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Renewable Energy and Power Quality Journal, Ocean Engineering, Array, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, and ICTIS. He is also on the Editorial Board of WebLog Journal of Materials Science and Engineering, Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, and Energy & Environment Management. He has published 8 SCI papers (including 3 as the first author) and 1 conference paper. He serves as a reviewer for journals and conferences including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Renewable Energy and Power Quality Journal, Ocean Engineering, Array, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, and ICTIS.
