I has extensive experience in teaching and scholarly research in transportation planning and management, as well as safety technology and engineering. Served as the principal investigator for 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. I led over 60 research initiatives, including projects supported by the Gansu Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Project, Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Key Project, Basic Scientific Research Funds for Gansu Provincial Universities, Gansu Provincial Department of Education Research Project, Gansu Provincial Department of Transportation Research and Development Project, Gansu Provincial Construction Science and Technology Key Project, and various horizontal collaborative research projects.
