Dr. Omid Rahmani holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Highway and Transportation Engineering) from Shahrood University of Technology. He has over ten years of academic and professional experience in traffic safety, roadway geometric design, pavement performance evaluation, and transportation planning in Iran, Australia, and the United States.

Dr. Rahmani has nine years of teaching experience at the Islamic Azad University (Roudehen, East Tehran, and West Tehran branches) and has also served as a teaching assistant at the Science and Research and South Tehran branches. In addition, he has taught a specialized course on the application of computer tools in transportation engineering and road safety at Tarbiat Modares University.

His research primarily focuses on traffic crash analysis, pavement surface friction and roughness, sustainable mobility, and roadway safety.
