Dr. Hamdy M. Afefy is a Professor of Concrete Structures and currently He is the Head of the Construction Engineering and Management Department of the Faculty of Engineering, Pharos University, Alexandria since September 2020.He is on leave from the Structural Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt. Dr. Afefyhad been graduated in June 1996. He ranked the first position among his colleagues with distinction grade. Dr. Afefy appointed as a demonstrator at the Structural Engineering Department and promoted till He became a Professor of Concrete Structures in February 2018. Dr. Afefy is an external peer reviewer for more than50 international journals as well as many international conferences in Egypt, China, Japan, Taiwan and Canada. Besides, He is a reviewer for the Egyptian University Promotion Committee for Professors and Associate Professors (Committee No.113, Structural Engineering and Construction) Supreme Counsel of Universities, Cycle 13.2019-2022 and Cycle 14, 2022-2025He published more than 100 papers in different International/regional journals/conferences.
