Prof. Yusuf Bozkurt received his BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. degrees from Ankara University, where he graduated with a Certificate of Honour. He has strengthened his academic background through research training and collaborations at various international universities and institutions. His primary research interests include reproductive biology and biotechnology, with a particular focus on gamete cryopreservation and the ex situ conservation of aquatic genetic resources. Prof. Bozkurt has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and actively contributes to the scientific community as a member of the editorial boards of several SCI- and SCOPUS-indexed journals, including Frontiers in Marine Science, International Aquatic Research, and Genetics of Aquatic Organisms (GENAQUA).
