Dr Ramnik Patel is a Distinguished Specialist General and Pediatric Surgeon/ Pediatric Urologist with over 40 years of extensive clinical and academic experience across all five continents of the globe in the UK, USA, ANZ, Africa, Middle East and India. Dr Patel’s career is marked by a deep commitment to surgical excellence, medical education and research. He has held prestigious fellowships and registrar positions at world-renowned institutions, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati; Waikato District Health Board University Teaching Hospitals at Hamilton, NZ. Imperial Medical School and Queen Charlotte Children Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital and University College London Hospital. His academic journey includes an MD (New York), MBBS (Gold medallist), MS(Gold Medallist), MCh(PGIMER, Chandigarh, DNBS(AIIMS, New Delhi), DNBPS (NBME, New Delhi), LL M (Gold Medallist), alongside fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd), Fellowship of the Intercollegiate Board of Surgical Specialities in Pediatric surgery FRCSPed and the European Board of Paediatric Surgery (FEBPS).Dr Patel has honorary Fellowships from the FACS and FAAP from the USA.

An active contributor to the global surgical community, Dr Patel has authored over 400 publications and served as an honorary reviewer for multiple international journals in surgery and tropical medicine. He is also a visiting faculty member at university teaching hospitals across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, where he mentors the next generation of surgical residents and fellows.
