Roman I. Aizman, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Director of the Research Scientific Institute “Health and Safety”, Professor of the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Life Safety of Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, leading researcher of the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Hygiene, Honored Professor of Tuva State University.
Aizman R. I was born on April, 12th, 1947. In 1972 with distinction has graduated from Novosibirsk State Medical Institute, since 1974 works at Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University.
Scientific degrees. In 1977 he has defended the master's dissertation on the theme: «The Reflex Mechanism of Potassium Homeostasis Regulation», in 1985 - the dissertation for a doctor's degree on a theme: «Development of Water-Salt Metabolism and Renal Functions in Ontogenesis».
The Honorary worker of National education of the Russian Federation, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, the corresponding member of the International Academy of sciences of the higher school, the Academician of the International Academy of Ecology and Safety, the Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.
The foreign member of the American physiological society, the full member of the European society of pediatrists-nephrologists, the member of 8 editorial boards of Russian and international journals and associate editor of the Journal ”Science and Education Today” . In 1996 was included in the International biographic directory of famous scientists.
Scientific results. The author and coauthor about 900 scientific and methodical works, including 33 monographs and chapters, 132 textbooks and manuals, over 490 articles in reviewed journals, and 34 patents, registration certificates. The Hirsch index is 36.
Scientific director of 8 doctor's and 42 candidate's defended dissertations.
At the International book exhibitions-fairs, Sibir book exhibitions has awarded 5 Gold medals, title «the Best textbook of 21 centuries» (Moscow. 2009, 2012, Novosibirsk, 2015, 2018, 2022), etc.
Training. In 1992-93 he trained at the Dept. of Human physiology (University of Californian, Davis, USA), in 1994-98 – at Dept. of pediatrics at Karolinska Institute (Stockholm, Sweden), in 2000-2004 worked as the invited professor at Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel).
Research Interests. Developmental Physiology, Renal Functions and Water-Salt Metabolism; Psychophysiology, School Medicine.
Honors. Diplomas of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry on Extreme situations, Administration of a city and Novosibirsk region. In 2010 was honored by the Medal «Property of Siberia», in 2012 – Medal of K.Ushinsky. in 2017 – the Honored Professor of Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University; Diplomas of the 1-st degree at the International Competition among University Professors of Biology (2017, 2018).
