Seyed Mohammadreza Mahdavian holds a Ph.D. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from Iran. His PhD thesis focused on optimizing the environmental aspects of production networks in northern Iran. Since 2021, he has been a lecturer (visiting professor) at the Rahman Institute of Higher Education, Faculty of Management, where he teaches courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and development. He is passionate about tackling some of the world's most pressing challenges and has dedicated his research to topics such as climate change economics, green growth, food security, nexus, and sustainable development. He has published numerous articles on these subjects. Additionally, he collaborates with prestigious academic journals like Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, and Scopus, where he serves as a reviewer.
