Joseph Gitera is a Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Quality Specialist at the Ministry of Health of Rwanda. Over 20 years of experience in health system strengthening and district-level capacity building, he has played a pivotal role in developing national quality standards and clinical guidelines, holds a Master’s degree in Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training and a Master’s in Public Health. His career spans roles from Chief of Nursing to senior technical specialist, focusing on the study of health patterns and disease surveillance.
