I have graduated at Faculty of Science; Tanta University, Egypt (1981-1984). I have got my Master at Faculty of Science, Tanta University, Egypt (1986-19888). I spent two years in Denmark at Odense University as a Ph. D. student (1991-1992). I have got my Ph. D. at Faculty of Science, Tanta University, Egypt (1993). I spent two years at Poitiers University, France (1996-1998). I have promoted to associate Professor of organic chemistry at Faculty of Science, Kafrelsheikh University (1999). I spent seven months at Technical University of Copenhagen, Lyngby, Denmark (1999). I have been a Fellow of the Humboldt Foundation since 2001. I spent sixteen months at Konstanz University, Germany (2001-2002). I have promoted to full Professor of organic chemistry at Faculty of Science, Kafrelsheikh University (2004). I spent seven years at King Saudi University, Saudi Arabia (2003-2010). I served as a referee for many international organization and scientific journals. I am a member of the permanent scientific committee for promotion of Egyptian Universities staff members (organic chemistry). I have supervised more than ten master and doctoral theses. I have published more than 60 publications in renowned scientific journals. I was the head of the chemistry department at the Faculty of Science at Kafrelsheikh University since 2010 for three years. I was the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Science at Kafrelsheikh University since 2011 for a period of three years. I was Dean of the Faculty of Science at Kafrelsheikh University since 2015 for a period of three years. I was the head of the chemistry department at the Faculty of Science at Kafrelsheikh University since 2021 until 31 July 2022 and I was retired in 31 July 2022. I am a member of the Standing Committee for the Promotion of Professors and Associate Professors of Organic Chemistry, 14th session (2022-2025).I am experienced in organic chemistry especially in the following branches: Natural Products, Heterocycles, Carbohydrates, Nucleosides, Stereoselective Synthesis, Drug Design, Developments and Spectroscopy Tools.
