Dr Maurice B. Silali, PhD, is currently working at Mount Kigali University, Rwanda, in the School of Health Science at the Department of Public Health, as Senior Lecturer and semantic scholar, in research work. Previously worked at Kenya Defense Forces Hospital, Kenyatta National Hospital as a Mausoleum Manager cum Histopathology technologist. School of Medicine, Maseno University and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Kenya, as an Anatomic Pathology Technologist, and Chief Embalmer of the Cadaveric Specimens for medical students. Currently researcher cum Senoir lecturer at Mount Kigali University Rwanda. Is a renowned semantic Scholar with over 39 publications and over 41 citations, Forensic Epidemiologist, Fellow, and Directorate of Forensic Science and Population Health with Lifetime Memberships from (IASR), 2018. Has a PhD in Public Health. (Epidemiology and Population Health), thesis: Occupational Epidemics, Medico-Legal Procedures, Health Laws & Health System Factors Attributed to Unceremonious Mass Grave Disposal Of Unclaimed Corpses in Western Kenya, At Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. MCHD & BCHD from Great Lakes University of Kisumu, Higher National Diploma (HND) in Histopathology & Cytopathology, Post Basic diploma in Health Service Management and Administration, and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from Kenya Medical Training College, (KMTC), Nairobi, and Certificate in Laboratory Technology. His global publications include, ‘‘Health Determinants of Medico-Legal Approaches in Identification of Unclaimed Bodies or Missing Dead Persons from Public Mortuaries in Western Kenya to Improve Health, filed with the International Library for thesis, 2019,.UBN: 015-A94510112072 and UBN: 015-A94510112056..Research interest in innovative Forensic epidemiologists in Population Health, Forensic Sciences Research for Health Planning, Policy Development & Management and Health research consultancy. Supervised several bachelor's & master's Research, and External Editor in several renowned international journals. Part-time lecturer in Forensic medicine and Toxicology, Human pathology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Disease surveillance, Cell Biology and Genetics, histopathology and cytopathology, MCH Global health, and Disaster management. Has attended various health-related Conferences and symposiums locally and abroad, and synergistically collaborated with various Facilities and Academic institutions in various positions and forums. Lastly is a known semantic scholar by the Google Scholar of 2018. Provided Consultancies, for the Independent medico-legal Unit, IMLU, KENYA, on Uptake of Medico Legal Procedures and Health Laws Attributed to Unceremonious Mass Grave Disposal of Unclaimed Corpses by Public Mortuaries in Kenya and Health service improvement in service deliveries in the Republic of Rwanda in Selected Facilities during the facility Transect walk on Students field internships and supervision.
