Ha Van Trung is a PhD candidate in Regional Economics at Wuhan University, China. His research focuses on the intersection of tourism economics, regional development, and sustainability, with particular emphasis on emerging economies in Southeast Asia. He employs advanced quantitative methods, including econometric modeling, spatial analysis, and PLS-SEM, to investigate tourism-led growth, green innovation, and environmental sustainability.

He has published in several high-impact international journals indexed in SSCI and SCIE, such as International Review of Economics & Finance, Journal of Environmental Management, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, and Heliyon. His recent work explores the dynamic relationships between tourism, foreign direct investment, renewable energy, and sustainable development.

In addition to his research, he has experience as a lecturer in economics and serves on the editorial boards of multiple international journals. He is also an active reviewer for SSCI and Scopus-indexed journals. His academic and professional work reflects a strong commitment to interdisciplinary research and evidence-based policy development in tourism and regional economics.
