Professor at "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi, Faculty of Materials Science & Engineering. Most of the author's research activity achievements are in the field of biomaterials being involved in preliminary studies for the foundation and development of new biocompatible materials based on titanium, zirconium, cobalt and magnesium alloys. Her publications focus on new biomaterials and advanced characterization of various compounds regarding their morphological, physical/chemical a respectively their behaviour. As a consequence of the scientific and research activity carried out in the biomaterials field, a number of 33 articles have been published, of which 14 are indexed in journals with an impact factor > 0.50 (Articles published in following Thompson indexed Journals: Materials, Coatings, Materials and Corrosion, Materials Chemistry and Physic, Journal of the Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials, Revista de Chimie, Advanced Materials Research, International Journal of Modern Manufacturing Technologies, Acta Physica Polonica A), 3 books and 3 international chapter book. She is involved in Organizing Committee of European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation – EUROINVENT, and International Conference on Innovative Research, since 2015, which gathers more events: invention and research projects exhibition, conference on innovative research and book and art salon. Also is Guest Editor on MICROMACHINES (MDPI): Special Issue - Implantable Biocompatible Alloys Devices and Application, in the Topics Board Editor for 'D:Materials and Processing', Micromachines Journal, and in Committee Board of European Journal of Materials Science and Engineering (www.ejmse.tuiasi.ro). She carry out activities in 3 national projects like director and in 6 projects like member (4 national and 2 international). Also she is author/co-author of 5 patent applications.
