Dr. Moustafa M. S. Sanad received his Ph.D from Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University in 2014. He holds the rank of Professor of solid-state electrochemistry at Advanced Materials Institute, Central Metallurgical Research and Development Institute -CMRDI (Egypt). He has H-index ~ 30, total citations ~ 2400 and published over 105 articles in the international peer-reviewed journals (Scopus). He received many awards and honors from various associations, such as Misr El-Kheir Foundation, Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Italian Embassy in Cairo, Central Metallurgical for Research and Development Institute. Prof. Sanad obtained the State Incentive Award in Advanced Technological Science in 2022. Moreover, Prof. Sanad was selected among the World’s Top 2% Scientist in Stanford University List 2023, 2024, and 2025. Prof. Sanad is a regular reviewer and editorial board member in many international journals. Prof. Sanad acted as PI, Co-PI, junior and senior scientist in 6 International projects and 8 STDF/ASRT projects. Prof. Sanad supervised and co-supervised 12 PhD thesis and 15 M.Sc. thesis. Prof. Sanad is the founder and head of Batteries Technology Department at CMRDI in Egypt.
