Prof. PhD habil. Otilia Manta is a PhD Supervisor at the School of Advanced Studies of the Romanian Academy (SCOSAAR) and Professor at the Romanian-American University, where she teaches International Financial Relations, FinTech, and Entrepreneurship. She holds a PhD in Economics (Finance) and is a Scientific Researcher at the Romanian Academy.

She is an expert in investment projects, capacity building, and sustainable development at both local and global levels, with over 25 years of experience in financial and banking consultancy, EU-funded project management, and multidisciplinary scientific research. As an Evaluation Expert, Rapporteur, and Vice-Chair for EU-funded projects, she has contributed to the successful implementation of numerous programmes and projects financed by the European Commission. In addition, she has been involved as an expert and rapporteur within other international financial institutions.

Prof. Manta is the author and editor of over 80 books and book chapters and has published more than 500 scientific papers and articles in national and international journals. She is the founder and publisher of two magazines and more than 20 international scientific journals and has served as a reviewer for over 500 ISI-indexed scientific papers.

Her academic work focuses on digital finance, FinTech, responsible financial innovation, and the development of innovative financial instruments for complex and sustainable systems. Her research bridges theory and practice, addressing major societal and economic challenges through financial innovation.

Her scientific excellence has been recognized through numerous international awards and distinctions, including gold medals awarded at prestigious international scientific and innovation competitions. She has also served on the boards and advisory councils of internationally renowned academic and scientific institutions, contributing to strategic development, academic evaluation, and the promotion of high standards in ethics, integrity, and educational excellence.
