Prof. Zlatko Hrgović (born February 8, 1950, in Lipovo Brdo near Bjelovar, Croatia) is a Croatian-born physician and internationally recognized gynecologist who spent most of his career in Germany. He graduated from the University of Zagreb in 1974, later earning doctorates in Zagreb and Hannover. Over four decades, he worked in leading hospitals in Frankfurt, Offenbach, Hannover, and elsewhere, specializing in obstetrics, gynecology, breast cancer surgery, urinary incontinence, and reproductive medicine.
He has published more than 150 scientific papers, edited several books, and mentored numerous doctoral students. In 2009, he was named among the Top 100 Gynecologists worldwide by Cambridge International Biographical Centre. He also served as professor at the University of Osijek and visiting professor at the University of Sarajevo.
