He has been an associate researcher at the Institute for Agricultural and Forestry Research (IRAF)/CENAREST since 2023, and is also a member of the Laboratory for Research and Valorization of Wood Materials (LAREVA BOIS). He earned his Ph.D. in Wood and Fiber Sciences from the University of Lorraine in France in 2020. At this research institute, he conducts research in wood science. He has developed new insights into the ecophysiology of mangroves exposing to mineral and organic pollution, their identification, and techniques for their restoration. He serves as a consultant for several NGOs involved in the restoration and preservation of mangroves in Gabon. He teaches wood science at the National School of Water and Forests in Gabon and supervises undergraduate and graduate students at the school working on topics related to the technological properties of wood and mangroves. He has won two awards, one in 2019 in France and the other in 2024 in Dubai, demonstrating the impact of pollution on the properties of Avicennia germinans mangrove wood.
