Dr. Abhishek Ojha is an Assistant Professor at the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Lucknow and has over two decades of experience in academic and translational research. His expertise encompasses bacteriology and infectious diseases, with a focus on multidrug-resistant pathogens, host–microbe interactions, and molecular diagnostics, including ELISA- and PCR-based assays. He has held research positions at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), India, and Sun Yat-Sen University, China. Dr. Ojha has authored several peer-reviewed publications and led funded projects in genomics and microbiome research. His research focuses on post-COVID-19 microbial dynamics and advanced infectious disease diagnostics.
