Dr. Jerez-Ebensperger main areas of research interest include biotechnology, theriogenology, andrology, nanotechnology, among other. Since 2007, he serves as veterinary in Chile and Spain, 2010 graduates of Master (MSc) and 2013 Doctor (PhD) in Biotechnology; Specialist in Reproduction (Medicine and Animal Health), University of Zaragoza, Spain. where he also plays an important role as author or co-author of 15+ scientific publications in the area of reproduction, cryopreservation seminal in species different. Since 2009-11, contributing evaluation committee of the Master in Introduction to Research in Veterinary Science, University of Zaragoza and at numerous presentations at Scientific Conferences in Europe and Chile. Since 2010-13. Teaching experience: Master Introduction to Research in Veterinary and Master of Science in Health and pig production organized by the University of Lleida, Autonomous University of Barcelona, University of Zaragoza and Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Also, he has participated inteaching innovation projects in Faculty Veterinary of Zaragoza. He has also worked as Peer reviewed journal articles (Veterinary World, CryoLetters, Animal Reproducion, Small Ruminant Research, etc) and Editorial Board (Journal of Agricultural Science and Food Technology, Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics Forecast, Insights in Veterinary Science, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Insights, etc). He was also appointed Chif editor of a journal.
Research interests: Reproduction, gynaecology and obstetrics: Pre and postpartum controls on livestock (cattle, sheep, hourse and swine). in vitro fertilization, in vitro embryo production, cell culture, sperm cryopreservation, improvement of seminal conservation techniques in sheep, sperm preservation, oxidative stress, reproductive biology, reproduction biology, cryopreservation, nanotechnology (magnetic nanoparticles and gold), cell cultures, clinical studies.
However, clinical interest include Dr. Jerez bovine herd health: Pregnancy checking, calving assistance, brucellosis vaccination, tuberculosis, castration dehorning, semen testing, epidemiology, infectious diseases, zoonotic diseases, medicine reaserch, certificates of veterinary Inspection, control of zoonotic diseases, medicine veterinary, etc.; Livestock Production: control, aid to farms as agricultural policy farmers in cattle, sheep and boar general equine.
Reaserch in accordance with the animal welfare law and guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals. Medicine: Intensive care with fluid therapy, vaccines and supplies; Reproduction: Stallion collection, Artificial Insemination (fresh, chilled and frozen semen), Shipped Semen, Sper cryopreservation, Semen freezing, in vitro embryo production, in vitro fertilization, reproductive biology, reproduction biology, cryopreservation, embryo flush and transfer (recipient mares available onsite), Breeding soundness examination, Ultrasound examination, tratament of the infertile mare, estrous synchronization, Infertility diagnostics (uterine culture/sensitivity,cytology), Evaluation of pregnancy and strategies for maintenance of pregnancy, Post-foaling preventive health care, Foaling assistance / dystocia management, cell cultures, clinical studies.
