Prof Wafa El Kholti, DDS is an assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Hassan II of Casablanca, Morocco. She obtained her degree in periodontics from the University of Hassan II. She holds Postgraduate Certificates in Oral Implantology and Advanced Techniques in Periodontal Plastic Surgery. She owns University Certificates in scientific research from the University of Bordeaux and in university teaching from the University of Hong-Kong. She is the general secretary of the Moroccan Society of Periodontology and its ambassador of Europerio 11. She is a reviewer and a member of editorial boards of international scientific journals. Prof. El Kholti’s research interests focus on mucogingival surgery around teeth and implants. She is an author of the book Periodontal Root Coverage: An Evidence Based Guide to Prognosis and Treatment (Springer Publishing, Edition 2019) and many international scientific publications in the fields of periodontal plastic and implant surgery.
