Negalign Wake Hundera completed his Ph.D. in Software Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in Chengdu, China, under the supervision of Prof. Hu Xiong, with a graduation date of June 23, 2021. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Technology from UESTC (2016) and a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Jimma University, Ethiopia (2009). Currently, he serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU), Jinhua, China, a position concluding on August 8, 2024. His research interests span network security, public key cryptography, neural cryptography, the Internet of Things (IoT), wireless sensor networks, cloud computing, deep learning, real-time object detection, and UAV networks. Dr. Hundera has extensive experience in teaching and advising students, conducting research, and writing project proposals for funding. He aims to apply his research skills in real-world applications such as healthcare, intelligent transportation systems, cybersecurity, industrial IoT, and smart cities. Additionally, Dr. Hundera is an active member of IEEE.
