Since May 2023, Dr Pieride Mabe Fogang has been Secretary General of China-Cameroon Entrepreneurs, a member of the European Geosciences Union (EGU), Tunneling Canadian association (TAC) and the Association of Cameroonians in China (ACAC). She is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Mining Department, Geotechnical Division of Liaoning Technical University in China, working on water protection resulting from coal mining in the northern part of China. She obtained a 4-year scholarship for the doctoral cycle in engineering in 2019 and currently holds a PhD at the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) with two awards in the School of Civil and Resource Engineering, a master's degree in geophysics-geotechnics (2013-2016) and a bachelor's degree in geology (2010-2013) at the University of Yaounde I (UY1), Department of Earth Sciences, among the best.

She has published four (4) articles in international journals and national conferences and presented several engineering projects and I have submitted 4 articles. Her research focuses on the prediction of tunnel deformations and their applications in engineering, analysis of satellite data, analysis of tunnel settlement risks, assessment and analysis of vibration-related movements in tunnels and mining, geohazards, interpretation of subsurface geophysical data, geotechnical classification of materials, geotechnical tunnel construction, stabilization of tunnels under a slope, tunnel construction based on geotechnical data, infiltration in tunnels, sewer construction, mine reinforcement during operation, petrological soil investigation, protection of mine water, numerical simulation of soil stresses, as well as geological field engineering work such as mapping, geo-engineering models, geotechnical classification, geotechnical evaluation of soil investigation programs. To his credit, he has used several software packages, including Matlab, Abaqus, Autocad, Adobe Illustrator, MathType, Argis, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher for numerical simulations and data presentation. The evidence for estimation and its current visibility is growing. She has given several lectures at the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) and in the companies.

Professionally, she worked as a geotechnical engineer for two (2) years on the Memve'ele-Cameroon hydroelectric dam construction project and transmission line tower foundations. She was recently selected as a Journal of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences (JCEES) reviewer. She also reviews articles for journals such as the International Journal of Geomechanics and the Journal Name Annals of Mathematics and Physics and Quality Engineering.
