I received BSc degree in Geology (2002) from Faculty of Science, Assiut University, Egypt, received MSc degree in Geology (Economic Ores, 2009), from Assiut University. My MSc research involved two areas (Homr Akarem & Homret Mikpidrare metal granites) located in the South Eastern Desert of Egypt and their associated mineralization. I spent two months (April-May, 2010) in geology department, Lund University, Sweden. I worked on mineral separation and identification with Prof. Anders Lindh. I also reveived PhD degree in (Economic Ores, 2017) from Assiut University, my PhD involved three rare metal granites (Homrit Waggat, Nuweibi & Abu Dabbab) located in the Central Eastern Desert of Egypt and their mineralization. I used the field relations, petrography, geochemistry, mineral chemistry and fluid inclusions to unravel the type of magma, magmatic sources, tectonic setting and evolution of the mineralizing fluids.I am currently working a lecturer of economic geology, mineralogy and crystallogarphy in geology department, Assiut University. I continue my research on rare metal granites and associated critical metal mineralization, gold and sulfidedeposits, grabbroic rocks and their related mineralization.

  • Study the relationship between magmatic and hydrothermal processes and styles of ore deposits.
  • Geochemistry of igneous and/or metamorphic rocks which host mineralization’s such as rare metal granites, alkaline rocks, basic/ultrabasic rocks and serpentinites.
  • Study the textural features and composition of economic ore minerals.
  • Determine the conditions for the formation of ore deposits.
