Dr. Luigi Montano, M.D., Ph.D., is a UroAndrologist at Local Health Authority (ASL Salerno), Past President of Italian Society of Human Reproduction, has his expertise in Environmental Pathology, Lifestyle Medicine, and Ecology.
His attention is focused on the prevention of environmental risks on reproductive health, particularly of the new generations. He is the creator and Coordinator of EcoFoodFertility project (http://www.ecofoodfertility.it/the-project.html) - a multicenter, multidisciplinary research connecting human life-style and dietary habits to the environmental consequences of exposure to pollutants. The project is starting up in several environmental risk areas of Italy, and involves young adolescents draw up a new model of research for Environmental Impact Assessment and for Primary Prevention of Risk Areas. He has numerous publications, some book chapters in national and international journals, numerous reports and keynote speakers in national and international congresses with various prizes and awards.
