He holds a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the University of the Campanha Region (2004), a specialization in Laboratory Hematology, a specialization in Clinical Microbiology from UFRGS, and an MBA in Active Methodologies in Higher Education. He holds a Master's and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology Applied to Health from the Lutheran University of Brazil. He is a professor at the University of the Campanha Region. He has experience in Pharmacy and Biochemistry with an emphasis on: Hematology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology. His research in molecular biology focuses on viral and bacterial infectious diseases. He is the technical manager of the Clinical Analysis Laboratory of the Bagé Garrison Hospital and the technical manager of the Molecular Biology Laboratory of the University Hospital - URCAMP. He also teaches the Pharmacy course in the disciplines of Molecular Biology, Clinical Immunology, Clinical Biochemistry, and Clinical Analysis Internship, among others. Member of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Analysis with Specialist Title from the same Institution.
