Dr. Martin Necpal is a university lecturer at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Material Science and Technology in Trnava. He earned his Ph.D. in 2010, focusing on Automated Process Planning and Integration into Current CAx Systems. Since then, he has been working at the Institute of Production Technology, specializing in the modeling and simulation of machining and forming processes, as well as the use of Finite Element Method (FEM) for manufacturing process optimization.
During his career, Martin Necpal has gained extensive experience with CAD and CAM applications, basic programming in Python and MATLAB, and AI techniques, including machine learning and deep learning. He has also contributed to the field of manufacturing technology by teaching assembly and production process simulations using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.
He has participated in several domestic and international research projects, collaborating with industry and academic institutions to enhance production efficiency and technological development.
He is also an active member of The Czechoslovak Association for Crystal Growth and the Slovak Metal Science Society, contributing to research and development in materials science and production technologies.
