Anni Zhao received the B.S. in mechatronics engineering in 2016, M.S. degree in mechanical engineering in 2018 from Florida Institute of Technology, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Merced in 2023. From 2020 to 2023, she was a Graduate Research Assistant with the Applied Controls Laboratory at UC Merced. Since 2024, she has been a post-doctoral fellow at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Center for Data Science at Emory University. She has researched and developed a variety of dynamics and control technologies, including machine learning-enhanced system modeling, robotics control, and signal processing for mechanical and healthcare applications. Currently, she is developing advanced diagnostic tools aimed at enhancing decision-making and improving patient outcomes.
