I completed my Advanced Cardiology training at Bart's Heart Centre, London, UK. I am an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Case Reports in Medicine, the Cureus Journal of Medicine, and the Cardiovascular Diagnosis and Therapy Journals.. I also work as a PLAB examiner for the General Medical Council in the UK. In addition, I also work as an Honorary Lecturer with the University of South Wales, and I currently tutor students on the MSc Preventive lecturer with the University of South Wales and I currently tutor students on the MSc Preventive  Cardiology diploma. Additionally, I serve as an instructor for advanced life support courses for the Resuscitation Council UK   and IMPACT courses.

I completed my MBBS at Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad, and subsequently obtained the MRCP (UK) in 2017. I also completed an MSc in Preventive Cardiovascular Medicine from the University of South Wales in 2018. Previously, I completed an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from LMU, Munich (Germany) in 2011. Furthermore, I obtained an MSc in Medical and Health Education in 2023 from the University of Hertfordshire. I have extensive experience in advanced life support and hold a PG Certificate in Advanced Life Support from the University of Keele. Additionally, I completed a PG Certificate in Advanced Life Support courses at the University of Keele and a Diploma in Leadership in Healthcare from the University of South Wales, United Kingdom.

I have published over 100 articles as a first and a co-author. I have completed Master's degrees in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from LMU, Germany and Preventative Cardiology from the University of South Wales.

I have been honoured with several prizes and awards, including the Excellence Performance Award EPA) from the Islamic Development Bank in 2005-06, the CHAAD scholarship in Germany in 2010, and a student bursary by Health Education England in 2019 for a PG certificate in Medical Education  EPA) from the Islamic Development Bank in 2005-06; the CHAAD scholarship in Germany in 2010, and a student bursary by Health Education England in 2019 for a PG certificate in Medical education.

I served as a Royal College Associate tutor for three consecutive years, from 2017 to 2020, and was a member of the BMJ Clinical Champion group for six months. I also worked as a British Junior Cardiology Association mentor for six months, mentoring junior doctors.

Finally, I am a fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators (AOME), UK and a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy  (Advance HE).
