Seung Hyeok Song is a physical therapy expert who possesses both profound clinical experience and academic leadership in the field of pain management and functional recovery. Driven by exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, he has consistently dedicated himself to promoting the long-term health of his individual patients. With a patient-centered philosophy and a commitment to close collaboration with other medical professionals, he is recognized as a trustworthy expert who delivers integrated rehabilitation solutions for complex conditions. He has published 15 academic research papers, distinguishing himself in Korean pediatric physical therapy research and making a significant contribution to the advancement of pediatric physical therapy in Korea.

The most notable part of Mr. Song’s career is the founding and five-year presidency of the Korean Physical Therapy Clinical Research Society (KPIMT). This academic society conducts scholarly activities acknowledged by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, gaining particular recognition for its expertise in central nervous system developmental rehabilitation therapy. KPIMT has led NDT (Neuro-Developmental Treatment) education, which is recognized not only in Korea but also in all OECD countries. Over the past five years, the society has opened more than 17 courses annually, training over 400 graduates and significantly elevating the educational standards of the physical therapy community. Notably, the International Torticollis Course offered by the society boasts high authority, with over 8 out of 14 participating doctors and 100 physical therapists having completed it.

In addition to his academic contributions, Mr. Song has played a vital role in advancing physical therapy within the local community. He served as the President of the Yongin City Branch of the Korean Physical Therapist Association for two years, demonstrating committed leadership toward enhancing the professionalism and protecting the rights of local physical therapists, as well as improving local medical welfare.
