Open Access Journals

Aims and Scope

Aims:

WebLog Journal of Chemical Engineering is an open access, multidisciplinary, double-blind, meticulously peer-reviewed online journal. Manuscripts reporting on the findings of fundamental and practical research in all fields of chemical engineering can be published in WebLog Journal of Chemical Engineering. Full-length research publications on completed studies on topics including experimentation (both data and technique) and novel theoretical models are published by WebLog Journal of Chemical Engineering. Submission of critical review articles that report on the state of the art in relevant fields of chemical engineering is highly encouraged and is also welcomed.

The journal's scope reflects the growing importance of chemical engineering in many other fields. Research topics include: bioengineering, fluid mechanics, transport phenomena, crystallization, electrochemical processes, materials engineering, waste treatment, fluidization, polymer engineering, nanotechnology, semiconductor processing, reactors and reaction engineering, catalysis, kinetics, separation processes, thermodynamics, process control, and many more.

Article types that can be accepted in WebLog Journal of Chemical Engineering include Case Blogs, Case Reports, Case Series, Clinical Images, Editorials, Letters to the Editor, Short Communications, Rapid Communications, Commentaries, Perspectives, Opinions, Mini Reviews, Systematic Reviews, Review articles, and Research Articles.

The Journal's Editorial Board is composed of a committed group of international experts in chemical engineering. The journal's progress is actively overseen and guided by each board editor. The goal of the peer-review procedure is to disseminate accurate and useful scientific knowledge. A group of subject area specialists evaluates the quality and substance of the papers submitted for publication.

Scope:

WebLog Journal of Chemical Engineering widely accepts manuscripts in the following areas, but is not limited to:

Chemical Reaction Engineering Environmental Engineering Chemical Engineering Environmental Bioprocesses Bioenergy Environmental Nanotechnology Clean Process Technology Reaction Kinetics Applied Catalysis Simulation and Optimization of Reactors Unsteady-State Reactors Multiphase Reactors Heat Transfer Mass Transfer Momentum Transfer Micro and Nano Structured Materials Composite and Hybrid Materials Industrial Chemistry Chemical Separations Thermodynamics Quantum Chemistry Molecular Stimulation Materials Synthesis and Processing Treatment and Environmental Separation Processes Pollution Control and Resources Recovery
