The Baby's Hearing in the Womb
The paper presents a brief description of developmental stages of the human hearing organ. Attention was brought to the mechanism of receiving and processing auditory information in a child in the womb. Bekesy's travelling wave theory does not provide a sufficient explanation of these processes. There are no descriptions of auditory mechanisms on a molecular level.
